Role: Develop pathfinding R&D prototypes by enabling Intel x86 Xeon features for the JVM and upstream them to OpenJDK- Developing a prototype of optimized ZGC (the latest garbage collector for Java) by modifying it to use upcoming x86 server CPU features • Modified JVM to enable Intel cache allocation technology to provide separate QOS for application and GC threads- Contributed up to ~3x speedups for 5 Java math functions using x86 intrinsics to OpenJDK.
