   At HCL Technologies, I worked on a large-scale Identity and Access Management modernization project designed to strengthen enterprise security and streamline user access across multiple internal and external applications. The goal was to improve how employees, contractors, and partners authenticated, gained access, and managed their credentials across systems.My role combined both Java development and IAM engineering. I was responsible for implementing secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID, and PingOne. I also built custom connectors and Java-based scripts to integrate various enterprise applications with these platforms.On the SailPoint IdentityIQ side, I handled user lifecycle automation — setting up workflows for joiners, movers, and leavers, creating custom provisioning policies, and developing reports like Orphan Accounts and Access Discrepancy Reports for audit compliance.I collaborated closely with security and operations teams to analyze each application before onboarding, ensuring that unique user IDs, permissions, and access levels were properly mapped. I also built automation scripts to help with platform upgrades (for example, PingFederate v8 to v9), ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.This project gave me a strong end-to-end understanding of how Java-based development, SailPoint IIQ, and Ping Identity work together to create a secure, compliant, and scalable IAM ecosystem.Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, SailPoint IIQ, PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID, OGNL, Beanshell, OAuth2, SAML, Jenkins, Rancher, Oracle
