About Valorie Valdez
Graduated from Northern New Mexico College in 1989 with a degree in Marketing and Management. My work experience includes work in Retail Management, Restaurant Management, New Home Sales with Fuller Homes, Insurance Agent with Farmers Insurance and Aflac, Financial Analyst for the State of New Mexico Finance Committee/Capital Outlay and work experience with a non-profit organization for Veterans. I am currently working with a wonderful non-profit organization, HELP New Mexico, Inc. My primary position is to provide up-skilling opportunities for our participants through education and on-the-job training by partnering with Colleges,Trade Schools and local businesses. As for my art background, I began weaving at the age of 10 and still keep a loom around. Although my life has taken me through many great career experiences, my art is what keeps me grounded. As a hobby I enjoy working as a background actor in movies and local commercials.
