Seven western states. Manager Driver Safety Instructors work directly under me, in addition to 25 Team Safety Instructors, I train the trainer and oversee. Hold safety meetings, bi-monthly Business Skype meetings with Corporate VPs, Operation Leaders, and HR Business Partners. Operation, warehouse, and shop visits/audits, support and to keep Ruan\'s standardization.Building and maintaining a safety culture and work with disgruntled dispatchers/drivers, union members with their CBA, government agencies and providing technical expertise on regulatory issues and training/evaluating employees, team building, coaching, DISC Behavioral Analysis, analyzing metrics and review incident trends to better help operations and team members and aiding regarding the proper management and investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future. And assist in the training process with emphasis on hours of service, driver qualification, vehicle inspections, conduct audits at Ruan\'s shops under 29 CFR, new hire orientation, CalEPA, Cal IIPP, EPA, MSHA, OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, CVSA, JSA reviews, Update California Environmental Reporting System and train non-CDL yard hostler. Inspect above ground tanks and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. Identify potentially hazardous biological, chemical materials and collect samples of them for analysis.Recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through safety training programs. Reviewing operation incident frequencies, trends, conduct root cause analysis, and determine proper training to mitigate future incidents by investigating causes incidents such as preventablerecordable accidents, lost time personal injuries, all violations of company policy DQ files and Driver Expirations,Random drug, and or alcohol quarterly test. Ensure all OSHA 300 logs
