ABOUT VALLIAPPAN RAMASAMY

I have over 17 years of experience in Software Engineering in the Financial Services Industry. In these years, I have had the opportunity to reengineer legacy Custodial Services Applications into Open Architecture Technologies including robust Mainframe Systems, built Straight Through Processing Systems for Asset Movements, worked on building Data Aggregation Solutions ground up, integrated multiple discrete applications of an Advisory Platform for Wealth Management Professionals and integrated components from vendor platforms to create seamless Advisor Experiences.I have had the privilege of managing and leading the relationship for some extremely large Financial Services Corporations during their onboarding process.I have partnered with vendors offering Data Feeds, Financial Market Data, Advisory Service Providers, Security Master/Pricing, CRM Tools, Performance Reporting, Portfolio Management and Trading Services in integrating with their solutions. I have worked on multiple financial products - Equities, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, Annuities, Managed Accounts Products, Separately Managed Accounts, Unified Managed Accounts and more.I am passionate about Learning, Training and Mentoring. I have conducted numerous sessions on Business Analysis, Use Case Modeling, Business Process Management, Managed Accounts, Business and Operations, Data Aggregation, Performance Reporting, Custody, Clearance and Settlement and Financial Products and Services.I have built a team of over 25 Business Analyst Professionals and manage all of their functions. I have setup a Business Analysis - Center of Excellence to create expertise and standards in the function of Business Analysis.My love and career in Business Analysis, Product Management, Data Analysis, Design Thinking, Analysis Patterns, Financial Services and Capital Markets - Their Operations and Business, has been fueled by some great gurus that I have worked with.
