About Valerie Navas

I graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2014 with a BA in Design and a minor in Anthropology. I am eager to learn and excited to enter the working world.I enjoy working with people while making the best decisions for my clients and their visions. I am interested in working in areas such as residential, hospitality, and museum design in interior design and/or architecture firms. I enjoy experimenting with space planning, remodeling, organizing solutions, event planning, and graphics. With experience in computer drafting, 3D computer modeling and rendering, and hand rendered architectural drawings, I believe I have important skills to offer. My interest in anthropology has led me love the history of humans and their reactions to their environment. I believe that the knowledge and skills I have learned from this discipline also give me a different take on design solutions.I have also received an enormous amount of experience with my previous job at Cal State Long Beach; I am aware of the process that a project goes through and the management of that project.
