Ms. Brennan concentrates her practice on advising companies and associations on selecting, protecting, and enforcing their brands worldwide. She has handled hundreds of client intellectual property portfolios, both domestic and international. She also has extensive experience in trademark and copyright licensing matters, including negotiating worldwide on behalf of her clients. Ms. Brennan has led intellectual property teams on many large-scale transactions, including, recently, in connection with one of the world’s largest media mergers, the worldwide transfer of a portfolio comprising a hundred thousand trademark registrations. On the copyright side, she is particularly experienced with nuanced fair use analyses and DMCA take-downs. One of Ms. Brennan’s talents is proactively finding solutions to problems before disputes arise (and resolving them quickly if a dispute can’t be avoided) and providing clients with practical and effective counsel without fluff.
