About Valerie Ross

As the Lead for I and I Access and Reimbursement, I have the opportunity to lead 7 Regional Directors and their teams. The teams are Field Reimbursement Managers, Patient Access Coordinators and Dedicated Care Coordinators. In addition to leading these teams, I am responsible for 6 Patient Support Programs; making positive changes to improve our patient programs to better serve our patients and customers.My role as the DCC team lead has provided me the opportunity to create a new position within Pfizer in the Access & Reimbursement Division. This position is the point of contact for each patient and their provider, communicating each step of the patient journey along the way to gain access to specialty medications with complex pre-therapy base line assessment requirements. The team is national and acts as the liaison between HUB services and a clinician team to keep the patient journey moving across each required step. My role has given me the opportunity to be part of the team creating the CRM system with Deloitte that connects the HUB, Dedicated Care Coordinator and the clinician team in an internal platform that allows communication and processes to be completed within the CRM. It has also given me lots of experience and opportunity to work with our compliance and legal teams in this CRM and Patient Support Program Creation.Experienced Sales Leader, Key Account Manager, National Contract Manager with a vast experience working in the Biotechnology industry. Experience as a Director for our Access and Reimbursement team, created a new, internal Access Division and leading 11 Field Reimbursement Managers in Dermatology.Bachelor of Science (BS) focused in Human Nutrition and Food Science from Washington State University.
