Hi everyone! I\'m a cyber security analyst with five years of experience. I graduated from Santa Clara University in 2018 with a dual degree in Computer Science and Japanese Studies. You’ll find me to be a team player, critical thinker, and passionate learner who works well under pressure.I am currently working as a security operations center analyst in a 24x7x365 environment across Windows, Linux, Mac, and Azure/AWS cloud systems. Day-to-day, I am responsible for responding to incidents related to phishing, malware, and beyond with SOAR, SIEM, and EDR tools and forensic artifacts such as running processes and network connections. I have previous experience as a developer and cyber defense analyst and have led response efforts for several high impact incidents. I am always looking for ways to create tools and automate workflows with Python.I have excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. I have volunteered as both a study abroad mentor and a peer educator for a Japanese language class at Santa Clara University. I have also worked with senior executives and law enforcement to present incident response findings.Offline, I enjoy practicing Japanese, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and sharpening my skills through home-labbing, offensive security labs, and capture the flag events. I also enjoy ultimate frisbee, hiking, cycling, gaming, and reading science fiction and fantasy.
