Early in my working career I received a thank you card that had printed on it Ralph Waldo Emmerson’s poem “Success”. Those words impacted me in a profound way, I have tried to stay true to them throughout my career. “… to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded.” – Ralph Waldo Emmerson I believe success is achieved by creating partnerships and bringing people together to achieve a goal. Most of my experience is as a solo-preneur where creating those relationship is integral to the success of your business. Being naturally curious about people allows me to make those connections that creates the synergy to a successful partnership.
