I joined Unilever in 2001 as Legal Business partner to HPC Marketing team located in Milan where I have been in charge of contracts, advertising and IP rights (trademarks, counterfeit, look-a-like). Overtime I have increased my responsibilities, including challenges, data privacy, safety and company Law. From 2007 to 2009 I have led the new Governance structure in light of One Unilever project for Unilever Group Companies in Italy, moving consequently to Rome Headquarter. In 2011 I have been seconded to the Global Legal team in London where I have supported the Oral Care Category as well as the UK legal team.

Current Role/Responsibilities:I am General Counsel for Unilever Italy, dealing with Corporate Governance, M&A and Marketing Law. I am responsible for these areas, ensuring legal compliance and harmonization processes across categories (Food/HPC), including Digital area and E-commerce. I deal with competitors challenges, representing the local Company before national Authorities on proceedings and disputes setting on unfair competition and misleading advertising, including cases before the competent Self Regulatory Authority.
