ABOUT VALERIA FERRARETTO
I am a researcher and data analyst studying young adults, families, and fertility behaviours.Currently, I am Postdoctoral Researcher in Demography at the University of Bologna, Department of Statistical Sciences. I obtained my PhD in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Trento. In my everyday work, I implement statistical models on STATA, R, and Excel to analyse trends, understand the causes and consequences of complex phenomena, and to visualize the information coming from large scale surveys. My work also includes dissemination activities to national and international audiences and, more broadly, public speaking activities. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at Bocconi University (Milan, IT) and at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (Rostock, DE).I am fluent in English, German and French (Italian native speaker).
