ABOUT VALENTIN KOENIG
Experienced in the government affairs environment in the health policy sector since 2021, I am passionate about bringing positive change for patients and strengthening democracy in times of rising populism and disenchantment with politics − among others, together with the #BC4D. My background includes studies in political science, communication science and political communication at renowned institutes in Munich (GSI and IfKW, LMU), Berlin (IfPuK, FU Berlin) and Bergen (Institutt for sammenliknende politikk, UiB). Through my experience abroad in Norway, I have developed a broad understanding of international contexts. My talent for building and maintaining networks complements my communication skills, which enable me to convey complex matters clearly and convincingly. As the organiser of a scientific conference for young researchers, among other things, I demonstrated my ability for strategic planning and event organisation at an early stage. I am convinced that change is possible through collaboration and commitment and I look forward to working with like-minded people to achieve our goals together.
