Valentine is a Partner at Duane Morris, LLP. She serves as global immigration law counsel to a diverse group of multi-national and domestic corporations and their employees, providing advice, compliance audits and representation to help navigate the intricacies of US and foreign immigration laws. Ms. Brown also represents individuals in all types of immigration proceedings, including persons of extraordinary ability; spouses, fiancées and children of US citizens; naturalization and political asylum applicants; as well as respondents in deportation and immigration appellate proceedings. In 2015 Valentine became the first global Pro Bono Partner at Duane Morris,LLP. In this role she is responsible for leading the firm\'s vibrant, world-wide, pro bono program. The program has grown exponentially under her leadership. Lawyer participation rates are up to 100%, with over 65% of attorneys doing 20+ pro bono hours per year. The firm\'s total hours have gone from in 2014 to in 2019. She has added numerous programs, partners, client-team partnerships and types of law during her tenure. Today Duane Morris attorneys provide pro bono representation to Community-Based Organizations, Not for Profit Corporations, Veterans, Immigrants, the Disabled, Homeless, Foster Children, Parents, Domestic Violence and Trafficking Survivors, and many more.
