ABOUT VALENTINA EMANUELE
I’m an international tax professional and PhD researcher with a focus on value creation, transfer pricing, and how taxing rights are allocated across borders.I currently work as a Tax Manager in the Talent Development Program at Novartis, where I’m part of a regional tax center coordinating tax matters across different countries. Through this role, I’m gaining hands-on experience across a range of areas, including transfer pricing, VAT, tax accounting, and local tax work through rotations.Alongside this, my research looks at how current tax treaty rules could better reflect where value is actually created, particularly in today’s digital economy. What I find most interesting is seeing how these concepts work in practice within multinational groups. I enjoy working across jurisdictions and trying to find solutions that are both technically solid and realistic from a business perspective.
