I’m a design researcher and strategist, bringing to that role over a decade of experience as a documentary film director and producer. I approach research the same way I do filmmaking: with a strong sense of curiosity and creativity, empathy for those sharing their stories with me, and rigor to uncovering insights and making sense of them in order to deliver strategic recommendations. As both a researcher and a filmmaker I have traveled the world and worked in a variety of contexts, exploring different topics and speaking with people from all walks of life. I like coming at each new challenge with an open mind, thus leaving room for surprise and the ability to connect on a human-level.
