ABOUT VALENTINA BELLONI

Provides operational leadership and scientific expertise to the Clinical Project Manager to ensure project milestones delivery on time, high quality in compliance with the ICH/GCP and applicable SOPs/Work Instructions.Carries out the following activities- Oversee all of the day-to-day activities for the Clinical Project Managers ensuring adherence and compliance by all the members- Monitor achievement of timelines and deliverables according to contract- Ensure that Project Operational Plans are in place as per relevant procedures and assist the Clinical Project Managers in the finalization- Assess training needs for Project Managers and ensures that relevant training activities are performed- Ensure that the activities carried out by the Clinical Project Managers are performed in compliance with applicable SOPs (Sponsor’s/CRO’s), contracts in force and regulations- Assist the Clinical Project Managers in issue resolution- Identify quality risks and issues and define appropriate corrective action plans to prevent or correct deficiencies in performance of staff- Maintain contacts with the Sponsor and participate to meetings and teleconferences- Establish and maintain the SOPs related to the Clinical Operations Unit- Collaborate with the Biometric Department to ensure management of the full project lifecycle in compliance with regulations, quality standards, procedures and policies- Contribute to hiring and on-boarding of new Clinical Project Managers and act as a mentor of junior staff
