ABOUT VALENTINA ARROS VALDIVIA
Hi! Thank you for your interest in reading about me. My motivation and professional focus today is in naturalistic illustration. My intention is to create illustrations that allow people to connect with nature, make science more accessible and to inspire and motivate people to protect and preserve our natural world. My professional carrer however, began more than eight years ago in other fields. In Chile I specialized in the area of public and social innovation as a project leader and consultant, managing collaborative networks and training people. I also had the opportunity to work on climate action and sustainability projects in design, communication and illustration roles. Right now, I am working on my thesis for the Master in Sustainable Resource Management in the Technical University of Munich, which is related to the optimization of interpretive signage for the protection of endangered species in natural parks in Germany.
