ABOUT VAISHNAVI PRABHU

I am currently pursuing Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ottawa.I have a wide range of technical skills gained through two years of relevant industry experience spread out over three companies in the Project Planning, Production and Manufacturing and R&D Domains. Leading and being part of various projects has honed my communication skills and my ability to work efficiently in a team. I am a quick learner with the ability to perform well under pressure.In addition to being a self-starter, I think out of the box. Therefore, I was able to provide innovative solutions to some of the problems in the production department at TATA AutoComp Systems. I am skilled at Data Analysis and have contributed critical insights to various stakeholders during my time as an engineering planner at Thermax. To pursue my interest in exploring multi-disciplinary fields with mechanical engineering, I co-authored a research paper titled “Machine Learning enabled Condition Monitoring Models for Predictive Maintenance of Boilers”, which was published in Xplore digital library as a part of the 4th International Conference on Recent Developments in Control, Automation & Power Engineering (RDCAPE).
