ABOUT VAISHNAVI GHAVAT

Hello there! I\'m Vaishnavi, an HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Jar. With a background in Management Studies and Liberal Arts from the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, and an M.A. in Public Policy from Saint Xaviers College, Mumbai, I bring a diverse skill set to my role. At Jar, I’m responsible for Organisational Policies, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Learning & Development and Workplace Culture. Previously, I started my journey at Jar as a Management Trainee in HR, where I had the opportunity to delve into various HR verticals, such as Talent Management, HR Operations, L&D, HR Strategy, etc. This invaluable experience helped shape my understanding of HR and prepared me for my current role as an HRBP. Prior to joining Jar, I worked as a Communications Trainee at MSD India, where I reported directly to the Associate Director. My responsibilities included stakeholder engagement and management, creating & designing emailers and newsletters for internal communication, and developing content strategies for both internal and external communications, as well as CSR initiatives. Additionally, my experience in the development sector has equipped me with expertise in primary qualitative research, including designing survey questionnaires and the facilitation of focused group discussions, interviews, and surveys, enriching my approach to driving meaningful HR initiatives. Alongside my professional pursuits, I enjoy dancing, reading, and travelling.
