The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is a premier Business School which has earned a reputation for excellence in academic activities and industry interactions. The Institute was set up by the Government of India, in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala, as the 5th Indian Institute of Management. IIMK, along with its flagship PGP programme, also has a PGP Finance program and a PGP Liberal Studies & Management programme, which it commenced in 2020. It also offers FPM, MDP, and FDP programmes and an EPGP programme that it runs in its satellite campus in Kochi. Moreover, IIMK started the Laboratory for Innovation, Venturing and Entrepreneurship (LIVE) in June 2016. The centre is envisioned to function as a business incubator with the purpose of creating a National Centre of Excellence to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee is the director of the Institute.
