I am an Engineering Leader working in the Flipkart Cloud Platform (FCP) managing three critical portfolios - Managed Distributed SQL, Managed MySQL and Backup/Restore products over the last couple of years. These have since become some of the best loved products within Flipkart and form the platform basis which teams across the length and breadth of Flipkart are able to reliably scale up their systems year on year. Also, I have been fortunate enough to have experienced all 11 Big Billion Days (since inception in 2014), so I believe I have a reasonably good idea of what it takes to build and scale such systems.Over the many years, I have worked on a broad range of technologies including Databases, Distributed Systems, Big Data, Search Engines, Middleware, UI / UX, Mobile among others. I also have a basic understanding of Machine Learning.
