Vaidila BanelisB.Arch, OAA, RAIC, LEED® APSenior PartnerVaidila first joined Zeidler Partnership in 1990. He has been responsible for the design of some of Zeidler\'s leading edge commercial projects. Canada Place at Canary Wharf, the sustainable design for Tower 24 in Germany, and the dramatic retrofit for Commerce Court in Toronto are a few examples. Vaidila has long been active in the design work of many of the firm\'s international projects, from his tenure as design director in our Berlin office from 1993 to 1996, to recent projects in China and the Middle East. As Senior Designer for Canada Marine Discovery Centre, Hamilton he has first hand knowledge of current thinking on energy efficient design. Vaidila works well on large complex teams with a relaxed approach for achieving design consensus. Most recently Vai has been the Design Partner on the Dalhousie LeMarchant Student Residence in Halifax, the Ryerson University Student Learning Centre in Toronto and The Learning Exchange at Mohawk College, Hamilton.Affiliations Member, Ontario Association of Architects Member, Royal Architectural Institute of Canada LEED Accredited Professional, CaGBC
