About Vaibhav Kumaresh

Vaibhav Kumaresh is an International Emmy nominated animation film maker. In 2003, he founded Vaibhav Studios which has since then created some of India’s favourite animated content in the field of TV commercials, episodic series and channel promos. Some of the most prominent are: the Amaron Battery ad campaign, Chulbuli for Clinic Plus, Buladi’s AIDS awareness campaign for the West Bengal government, the Vodafone Zumis, Simpoo the angry sardaar math teacher on Channel [V] and Lamput the globally acclaimed, International Emmy nominated micro short series for Cartoon Network. He is currently Directing and Producing the Studios\' maiden Hindi feature film titled Return of the Jungle - slated to release early 2023.A Fine Arts graduate, Vaibhav studied animation film making at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He is an active committee member and the Honorary Secretary of The Animation Society of India (TASI). Vaibhav also teaches animation and is a visiting faculty at various animation and design schools across India. In 2006, the India Today magazine selected him as one of the 40 young achievers of India.

   Set up Vaibhav Studios to produce quality animation content in the field of TV Commercials, Shorts,Tele-series, Channel Idents and feature length Films.The Studio is the only Indian Animation Studio to be nominated for an International Emmy for LAMPUT - an original series conceived for Cartoon Network, APAC. Since its release, Lamput has become a global favorite and is now in its 4th season.The Studio has won several international awards for its work across various mediums and is now finishing its maiden animated feature - Return of the Jungle.
