Project: Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GoI Managing financial operations related to GoI Subsidy under PMFBY across 22+ States, ensuring utilisation of an annual outlay of INR 150 Billion (approx.) in adherence to operational guidelines. Accountable for the end-to-end computation, reconciliation, utilization, and reporting of GoI subsidy disbursements to eligible farmers via implementing insurance companies. Managing audit observations, financial verifications, and RTI responses ensuring transparency and accountability. Liaising with implementing insurance companies for timely demand generation, reconciliation of subsidies for both current and old seasons, and resolution of discrepancies. Drafting official correspondences, policy notes, and reports for senior leadership up to Ministerial level. Acting as Nodal Officer for Haryana, overseeing subsidy administration, portal integrations (NCIP), and issue resolution. Conducting internal verification and evaluation of the financial expenditures incurred under Information, Education & Communication (IEC) initiatives to assess outreach efficacy and enhance farmer awareness regarding PMFBY.
