ABOUT VAIBHAV ROKADE
Food is the basic necessity of all life forms on the earth and at the top of the food chain, homo sapiens need it every day. However, microbial safety issues make human life threatened and Industry a big loss due to food recall. My area of research is on food pathogens which are responsible for forming biofilms on surfaces which are responsible for contaminating the food products. We are working on a possible outcome to inhibit biofilm with natural extracts which are low cost and do not affect the product safety in manufacturing process lines. However, I have experience in food regulatory affairs and worked on various food categories (Biscuits, Bread, Cake, Rusk, Ready to eat savouries and Milk and Milk Products) on overall compliance w.r.t domestic and Internation markets.
