Worked on building Native AWS services from scratch with key AWS components like AWS Fifo SQS,AWS ECS, AWS DynamoDB following Amazon’s internal ACBDA design pattern and following the bestpractices of SOLID design principles. This required to independently understand the use-cases, design, break down the project into granular technical user stories and modify the components, and build a robust test plan to launch the features.The services built are done as part of existing system rearchitecture and to support Amazon’s Seller Central launch in a new marketplace. With the services built in production, the new marketplace launch is expected to bring in a 1.5 billion dollar revenue stream for Amazon.Have actively participated in team code reviews, design discussions, team planning andticket/metric/COE reviews. Have been recognised for contributions in Operational Excellence. Wrotescripts which automated manual efforts of SDE in searching and listing down code packages using a search key across entire Amazon code packages. This has been extremely useful in running campaigns to the right clients.Have worked on Recommended Deals and Curation Policies feature migration to new offer attributes.Partnered with multiple teams in an away team model and delivered the solution with the right quality as per the plan.Have actively participated in hackathons organised within organisation. Built a SQL Query Assistant as part of the hackathon. The prototype was designed to generate personalized SQL queries through interactive conversations with users, tailoring the queries to their specific requirements. The Query Assistant was highly appreciated and was taken up as a Engineering Excellence project as it significantly streamlined the efforts of Business Intelligence engineers, enabling them to eiciently formulate SQL queries for specific use cases.
