   Functioning as a technical leader within the Ads responsibility and privacy team. Handling work prioritization, feasibility evaluation, task delegation and serving as the subject-matter expert for key product areas within the organization. • Championed design review meetings, gathered requirements, designed dimensional data models and developed several foundational datasets and data cubes for the revamp of the Ad topics page on Facebook and Instagram. Facilitated the release of this product to 3 billion+ users worldwide. • Led the effort to optimize existing data pipelines with the aim of reducing compute and storage resource consumption by implementing several Presto and Spark SQL optimization techniques. Saved around $150k for the department through these efforts. • Surfaced several key findings, patterns and insights on the Ad topics product on Facebook through dynamic and user-friendly dashboards powered by templated SQL queries. • Identified prospects to forge new working partnerships with business and other analytics teams. Identified collaboration opportunities with cross-functional partners with the goal of improving the overall health of the Ads product. • Interviewed several data engineering candidates and served as a mentor for new joiners through their onboarding period.
