About Vadim M.
Experienced immunologist steeped in both adaptive and innate immune systems function as it relates to preclinical and clinical characterization of drug candidates targeting autoimmune, autoinflammatory diseases and cancer. Well versed in relevant immune signaling involving key druggable pathways. As a key member of the cross-functional clinical project management team representing preclinical and translational research, I\'ve been involved in review and analysis of both early and late stage trials data, communicated with sponsors, investigators, and vendors to ensure trial progress and resolution of issues, reviewed protocol designs, clinical study reports, safety data and adverse event reports, interpreted and presented study results to support decision-making and regulatory submissionsAs a leader of projects focusing on identification of small molecule inhibitors of JAK2 and Aurora kinases and their advancement to development candidate status, I acquired an extensive expertise in oncology. I am particularly proficient in clinical and biologic aspects of hematologic cancers (heme-onc)(AML, MDS, CLL) and myeloproliferative diseases due to extensive exposure to the projects linked to development of IRAK1/4, SYK and IDH1 inhibitors. The knowledge includes hands-on experience in developing and applying variety of cell-based and biochemical assays to compound profiling, lead optimization and characterization, relevant in vivo studies, familiarity with trial protocols, planning, conduct and data analysis and presentation to a variety of audiences.I translate complex and often convoluted data sets into practical and actionable biomarkers and targets. I transform what might look as just a dotted smoke on the volcano plot into the fire of actionable targets that drive it. I can tell if the dark cloud on the transcriptomics PCA profile is just that - or if the cytokine storm is brewing. With years of experience in drug discovery, I can separate the path worth taking from the one that leads you down the rabbit hole.I am interested in a position of head of research, translational research or an equivalent. Also would consider clinical research jobs of equal statue.Specialties: Immunology (autoimmune or autoinflammatory diseases), oncology, immuno-oncology, hematology, metabolic diseases
