As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, I develop a scam detection model for WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. This project involves iterating and refining the model despite unforeseen challenges, such as data quality and scalability issues. I also gain hands-on experience with various other projects across Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook, applying cutting-edge technologies and best practices in Machine Learning.Before joining Meta, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Deliveroo, where I contributed to the development of an automated bidding and ads ranking system on the Ads Platform team. I led the development of a ranking algorithm using TensorFlow and deep neural networks, and drove improvements in core ad metrics, such as click-through rate and revenue per ad. I have a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Carlos de Madrid, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University. I am passionate and experienced in Reinforcement Learning, Ranking, and Deep Learning, and I am committed to driving innovation, delivering impact, and staying current with advances in the field.
