Development of a B2B platform for automating financial document processing for the world’s largest enterprise fintech companies based on a microservices architecture, including:* Service for handling incoming email messages from client mailboxes and identification of invoices within them.* Service for visual data recognition from financial documents.* Invoice management service.* Service and meta-language for automating invoice processing workflows.* Service responsible for providing analytics for our clients.All services are written in Python using FastAPI and PostgreSQL, deployed on Kubernetes cluster hosted in cloud. Message queues based on RabbitMQ, logging, and monitoring in Grafana and Prometheus.Additionally, technical management of a cross-functional team, including planning, changing internal processes, recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring.Developed a new pipeline for OCR of financial data using AI, which helped reduce processing time by 90%(from 2.5 minutes to 15 seconds), improve accuracy by 20%(from 75% to 95%), and cut costs by 60%.Development of the foundation for implementing product and financial analytics including data warehouse, CDC, ETL, analytics dashboards, and other data-intensive tools using Postgres, Snowflake and MetabaseAs the product was API-first and targeted towards enterprises, a lot of attention was given to REST API operations and best practices, such as versioning, automatic documentation, and tracking breaking changes.
