About Vaani Khanna

I started my career building and breaking systems as a Systems Engineer at Infosys, spending over four and a half years in telecom QA for large U.S. operators. That experience made me curious about the business problems those systems were built to solve, which led me to pursue an MBA at IMT Ghaziabad. Today at Infosys Consulting, I work on the process and strategy layer of telecom BSS transformation. I map customer and product journeys across Lead-to-Order, Order-to-Activate, and Order-to-Bill, design operating processes governing critical service transitions such as Release Management and Handover to Operations, and help senior stakeholders across global telecom clients translate business requirements into transformation roadmaps through RFP and pursuit support. Alongside delivery, I contribute to thought leadership on Generative and Agentic AI, helping CMT clients think through what these technologies change operationally, beyond the pilot stage. My background across technology and consulting gives me a perspective that sits across strategy and execution. I am now looking to apply this at a larger, more strategic scale within CMT consulting.

Identified 12 risks and gaps across mapped processes for a leading ANZ telecom operator, including root causes of data discrepancies impacting emergency services compliance.3.
