Analytical | Results - Driven | PassionateAs a Communications Manager at Brooke Charter Schools – I am able to take on observational and strategic skills to uphold a welcoming community through our content strategy, promotional, and marketing materials.I have experience as a customer service representative in the IT and hiring industry through my undergrad as I assisted in managing student workers and responded to customers\' technological requests. During my IT experience, I was able to implement a DiversITy & Inclusion Charter to break down all bias\' and celebrate differences in our department. Additionally, during my undergrad - I was able to run the IT department and HUELLAS Latinx club instagram, twitters, and facebooks, which provided me with public relations experience and social media expertise. Interning as a Communication Intern at MOIA also provided me with skills in website editing, content strategy and capturing, and critical thinking applied to social media materials being sent out. I am also skilled with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry through my involvement as a mentor and guide as President of a Latinx-centered club on campus. Additionally, I have volunteered at various organizations focused in English Language Learning Education, immigration and refugee advocacy, GED, and citizenship resources. I have gained experience in advocating for this community and how to meet their needs. My life goals includes becoming a Higher Education Administrator, focused on DEIB work to build antiracist organizations by implementing DEI practices, approaches, and programs. I aim to break down the barriers that underrepresented groups face and strive to build an inclusive community where the unwritten rules of education, college, and society are easy to access for all students.
