I am a public sector transportation planner working for the Bristol Tennessee/Virginia Metropolitan Planning Organization. As a bi-state organization, I work diligently to ensure that the transportation needs of the growing region are met while keeping the federal planning factors at the core of the MPO\'s activities.As a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with dual Masters in City and Regional Planning and Civil & Environmental Engineering with a Concentration in Transportation Systems Engineering, I approach my work with a balanced perspective. To achieve the best results, I always seek to develop consensus across the various disciplines of local jurisdictions\' staffs, ensuring all partners work toward coordinated improvements of the regions\' shared transportation facilities.
