About Uzoma Onyeije

Uzoma Onyeije is a Senior Counsel at First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet), an independent authority within the U.S. Department of Commerce that develops, builds, and operates the nationwide, broadband network for first responders. He has been a key contributor to this mission for over 11 years, applying his legal expertise and skills in privacy law, intellectual property, administrative law, and wireless regulation. As a Senior Counsel, Uzoma advises FirstNet on legal and policy issues, negotiates contracts and agreements, and represents the agency before federal and state authorities. He also leverages his entrepreneurial and investment experience as the owner and manager of DC Property Investors, LLC, a company that generates income through the purchasing and reselling of distressed homes. Additionally, Uzoma has served as a board member of The Reginald S. Lourie Center, a non-profit agency that supports the emotional health of parent-child relationships. Uzoma is passionate about using his skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the public and private sectors. He holds a J.D, cum laude, from Howard University School of Law and a B.S. in Accounting with honors from Oakwood College.
