ABOUT UZAIR AHMED

As a pharmacist I have skills related to the provision of pharmaceutical services, devices and medication. These include clinical knowledge of drug use, side effects, interactions and the treatment pathways for major illnesses. These also include the client interaction with suppliers, major supermarkets, internet pharmacies, chains, independent pharmacies, patients and customers.As part of my role I deliver patient group directions in order to supply medication to specific patient groups under outlined circumstances and locations without a prescription. Another part of my role is that I supply medication to patients outside of clinic hours as part a national scheme aimed at ensuring continuing care for patients. I educate patients as to the use and practical aspects of their medication, be they new or ongoing. I filter through patient data in digital, spoken, third party and occasionally by post form in order to give appropriate care. I have been able to experience many aspects within the pharmaceutical supply chain from queries manufacturers about supply as well as product specific interactions, storage information, aspects of the manufacturing process which bare clinical relevance such as encapsulation types in modified release mediations. Furthermore I\'ve made and supported pharmacueitcal information queries from doctors, professionals, colleagues, patients and even vets.I also have to keep up with any changes in law that surround the legal supply, storage and destruction of medication. Another aspect of my job is to ensure a knowledge of an expansive array of research material as well as governmental guidence and professional guidelines is implemented into my practice. Many of the skills I have been fortunate to gain through my practice and it\'s multifaceted nature lend me to other businesses. Skills such as data alanysis, researching, assesment of conflicting data types, client based skills sets and financial data types surrounding business ownership.
