Uwe is the Managing Partner of the global family office D&D Legacy Capital. He served as Chairman & CEO of DHL Express Worldwide, and as Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. He was elected as “Global Leader for Tomorrow” by the World Economic Forum, into the “Elite for the Future” by Wirtschaftswoche, and into the “AIESEC Hall of Fame” by AIESEC International.Uwe spent 15 years with the DHL Group (formerly \"Deutsche Post DHL\"), the last four as chairman and CEO of DHL Worldwide. As part of the groundbreaking restructuring and re-positioning of the group, Uwe spearheaded its international expansion with over 100 acquisitions all over the world, including the purchase of DHL, an effort which resulted in the creation of DHL Group, the world’s leading transportation and logistics company. Uwe also served as Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, leading numerous strategic growth projects for global clients out of the Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Madrid and Zurich offices, and as Managing Partner at Blue Ridge Partners, the boutique consultancy focusing on profitable revenue growth, mostly in the private equity sector. He has been investing in startup businesses for many years, and spent two years with Deutsche Bank.Over the course of his career, Uwe has been responsible for billions of dollars in profitable revenue enhancement in large and small enterprises, led or participated in over 100 merger and acquisitions projects, and consulted over 100 companies on a variety of strategic issues. He has successfully lead and profitably grown large multi-billion dollar businesses and overseen major restructuring, transformation and post merger integration projects.
