Banasthali Vidyapith founded way back in 1935, when the concept of women\'s education virtually did not exist. The founders went door to door to recruit students, there was no question of charging fees for the initial few decades. With that humble beginning, Banasthali today stands as the \'world\'s largest residential university for women, having more than students on its 950 acre campus, having a distinct ideology of \'Five Fold Education\' nurturing women leaders with strong value base. Banasthali Vidyapith aims at the synthesis of spiritual values and scientific achievements of both the East and the West. Its educational programme is based on the concept of \"Panchmukhi Shiksha\" and aims at all round harmonious development of personality. It is also the 2nd highest ranked women\'s university across the globe.
