Greetings! I’m an IIT Delhi graduate with experience working on enterprise-scale data migration projects for Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems. In my last role, I architected ETL pipelines to move billions of records from on-premise to the cloud, automating the process effectively enough to reduce manual effort by 95%.In addition, I’m proficient in C++ and Python, and also possess a knack for solving data structures and algorithms problems. Over time, I’ve also worked on projects in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and data analytics.I’m a firm believer in staying curious, which means having way too many browser tabs open at any given moment.On the human side, I’m deeply fascinated by the motorcars and F1 as well as the buzz surrounding startups and global business. Worked on enterprise-scale data migration project, migrating Oracle Retail Merchandising System from on-prem database to cloud platform; analyzed new schemas, system options, and data templates to identify schema changes, deprecated fields, and new constraints before migration- Designed and developed a custom ETL pipeline to extract, preprocess, and transform legacy data (missing value handling, default value imputation, data type conversion, constraint validation) to match new system upload templates- Migrated 120+ tables and processed datasets ranging from millions to billions of records, optimizing data extraction using chunking and parallelization, and automated workflows reducing manual effort by ∼95%- Performed post-migration data validation and functional testing to ensure data consistency and collaborated with Oracle support teams to resolve data inconsistencies, system bugs, and migration issues.
