ABOUT UTKARSH SINGH

Making Quantum Machine Learning Work for Real-World Impact I am completing my PhD in Physics (expected 2025) at the University of Ottawa & National Research Council Canada, where my research focuses on quantum machine learning (including quantum neural networks, quantum kernels, and quantum reservoir computing). This work has resulted in two granted patents—a Coherent Feed-Forward Quantum Neural Network and a Resource-Efficient Quantum Feature Map—with a third patent on quantum reservoir computing submitted and a forthcoming paper under review. Beyond academia, I’ve contributed to quantum software development and hybrid quantum–classical ML models at startups in Europe and India, helping translate theory into deployable solutions. I am also part of IBM’s Sustainability Working Group. What I Offer - Feasibility studies & PoCs for QML adoption in your domain - Custom hybrid & quantum-native ML model development - Seamless integration into existing AI pipelines - Training & upskilling for technical teams Recognitions & Contributions - Patents: 2 granted (QNN, Quantum Kernel), 1 pending (Quantum Reservoir Computing)- Awards: Student Award (Deep Tech Canada & NRC, 2024), Mitacs BSI & GRA Awards (2025), Inventor Milestone Awards (NRC, 2023)- Credentials: IBM Certified Quantum Developer | Qiskit Advocate | Open-source contributor in quantum ML - Speaking & Outreach: Invited talks, hackathons, and community leadership in the global QML ecosystem If you’re in R&D, AI/ML, or applied physics and want to explore competitive advantages through quantum-enhanced AI, let’s connect. Message me directly or book a call—I’d love to discuss how QML can work for you.
