As a Legal Intern at Oblawgic Consulting LLP, my major duties include:1. Legal Research: Conducting in-depth legal research on various topics, including corporate law, labour law, contract law, and employment law. Summarizing case laws, statutes, and legal articles to assist in drafting documents and advising clients.2. Drafting Legal Documents: Assisting in the drafting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant laws.3. Client Interaction: Assisting in client consultations by preparing summaries, questionnaires, and reports, ensuring clients are provided with the most relevant and timely legal information.4. Case Analysis: Reviewing case files and assisting in case preparation by identifying key issues, precedents, and applicable laws. Drafting legal memoranda for ongoing litigation or advisory matters.5. Assisting in Compliance: Helping with legal compliance work by researching and preparing reports on regulatory updates, corporate governance, and ensuring that clients are aligned with industry standards.6. Attending Court Hearings: Accompanying senior lawyers to court hearings, observing legal proceedings, and assisting with legal notes and preparation.7. Document Review and Management: Reviewing legal documents for accuracy and compliance, and assisting in the management of case files and legal databases for easy access and reference.8. Participating in Team Meetings: Attending internal team meetings, contributing to brainstorming sessions, and providing legal insights to ongoing client cases and internal projects.Through these duties, I am gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of law, from research to client interaction, while furthering my understanding of the legal profession.
