Lead preconstruction and project delivery activities across Ontario, overseeing projects from bid review through execution, closeout, and warranty.• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to define scope, risks, constraints, constructability, and execution strategy.• Prepare detailed estimates and bid submissions, including quantity take-offs, pricing, RFIs, value engineering options, and commercial clarifications; led the pursuit and estimation of over $500M in work.• Develop bid strategies and procurement plans, engage suppliers and subcontractors, and negotiate pricing and terms to improve cost certainty and competitiveness.• Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with clients prior to award, including scope definitions, inclusions, exclusions, and commercial terms.• Transition awarded projects into execution by leading internal kick-off meetings and establishing budgets, schedules, methodologies, and phasing plans aligned with tender assumptions.• Manage multiple projects concurrently through execution, providing senior oversight of site operations, means and methods, system selection, and quality control.• Maintain full financial ownership, including budget approval, cost tracking, change order negotiation, billing, invoice and timesheet approval, cash flow management, and end-of-job forecasting.• Improve project performance through value engineering, strategic procurement, execution efficiencies, and proactive risk management.• Lead quality control, inspections, deficiency management, and warranty administration; resolve design gaps, schedule delays, claims, and disputes.• Lead and develop site supervisors, project coordinators, and estimators; oversee hiring, compensation, performance management, and departmental KPIs.• Report directly to ownership, participate in executive leadership and strategy meetings, and maintain accountability for departmental P&L.
