Experience

  1. Undergraduate Research Assistant

    Yellow Jacket Space Program

    Apr 2025 — Present

I am working on a project that will investigate the feasibility of containing atmospheres using rotational gravity in large space habitats and quantifying the loss rates thereof. In Summer 2025, I simulated ringworlds of varying width, radius, and gravity using Python. I also wrote python code to integrate tangential force arrays along circular paths, calculating cumulative forces from angle and radius data.In Fall 2025, I will be the statistical modeling lead for the project. As part of this role, I will be developing statistical correlations between ringworld parameters (gravity, radius) and atmospheric retention, reducing model uncertainties. Additionally, I will be building a catalog of proposed habitat designs vs. projected lifespans to evaluate long-term feasibility
