Technician Asset Management @Kier Group

As part of Kier’s Birmingham Highways Interim Services Contract, I work within the Asset Management Team to ensure the effective capture, management, and analysis of highways asset data using the Confirm Asset Management System. I support the Inventory Engineer and step in during their absence to maintain workflow continuity, ensuring projects are delivered to client expectations.Key responsibilities: • Capturing, validating, and maintaining accurate asset data within Confirm. • Supporting the Inventory Engineer, including acting as deputy when required. • Collaborating with the Asset Management Team to deliver projects on time and in line with client requirements. • Producing detailed reports and presentations for project progress and performance reviews. • Driving improvements through knowledge sharing, process innovation, and creative problem-solving. • Ensuring compliance with Kier’s procedural requirements and health & safety standards.Skills developed & applied: • Highway asset management systems (Confirm) • Data capture, digitisation, and editing • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Analytical and mapping skills • Reporting and presentation delivery • Team collaboration and independent problem-solvingKier fosters a collaborative, trusted, and focused culture where wellbeing, inclusion, and innovation are at the forefront of everything we do.
