About Urvi Agarwal
I am currently working in the Data Analytics team at D.E.Shaw India, where I assist in alternative data driven investing efforts using SQL and quantitative modelling techniques. While pursuing B.Sc. Economics in NMIMS, Mumbai, I simultaneously cleared both levels of the Financial Risk Management (FRM) certification exam as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 and 2 exams in the first attempt. I am currently a CFA L3 candidate. Having completed a summer internship with the National Stock Exchange Ltd, I learned how to practically apply credit risk management knowledge, and learned the basics of Python and R Programming. I\'ve also worked as a portfolio manager in Plutus, the Finance club at my college. Through that opportunity, I mentored a team of 5 students, building my teamwork and leadership skills. I am interested in the financial markets, consultancy, investment banking, financial advisory and business development. Looking forward to building connections and open to collaborating on intriguing projects.
