ABOUT URS MEIER
Since 2005 Urs serves as CFO to Lux International AG. He has supported the development of the company (legal, fiscal, financial structures); setting up subsidiaries and distributor businesses. He has assisted the previous shareholders on their sale of shares to India-based Eureka Forbes Ltd and has led the integration in financial and legal terms into this new group of companies. Since April 2018, Urs leads Lux International AG as co-CEO and CFO, together with Christian Beck, co-CEO and COO. Effective February 1st 2020, Urs was appointed as CEO by the Board of Directors. Effective February 1st 2021, Urs was elected as a member and as the Delegate of the Board of Directors. During 2023, the previous India-based shareholders have stepped out of Lux, and Urs has looked out for a new suitable ownership of the company, with a decent experience in the Direct Sales Industry and a proven track record in a national market. In February 2024, the ownership has been transferred onwards. Effective March 1st 2024, Urs will serve as co-CEO, together with the newly appointed \"Delegate of the Board of Directors & CEO\", Michaelo Walter. Urs has over the years acquired hands-on experience in most European countries, in the USA, in Latin America, in South Africa and in ASEAN countries.
