I’m an embedded firmware engineer with more than 20 years of experience developing complex real-time systems across IoT, aerospace, sensing platforms, and connected devices. My work typically sits at the intersection of hardware and software, bringing up new embedded platforms and solving difficult integration problems across processors, sensors, and communication systems.I’ve worked on a wide range of embedded architectures including ARM microcontrollers, DSP platforms, FPGA-based systems, and embedded Linux devices. I particularly enjoy projects that involve new hardware bring-up, real-time signal processing, and system-level debugging where firmware must interact closely with complex hardware.Currently I lead firmware development for telematics systems at Zipcar, building embedded platforms that integrate BLE, cellular connectivity, and vehicle diagnostics.

   As Telemetry Lead Engineer, I lead firmware architecture and development for custom embedded telematics hardware used across the fleet. My work focuses on real-time embedded systems integrating BLE, cellular networking, and automotive diagnostics (UDS/OBD-II) on ARM-based platforms. I also develop simulation frameworks and CI/CD infrastructure that allow the team to test and validate firmware behavior against virtual vehicle environments.
