ABOUT ANMOL ANAND

Anmol is an enthusiastic Urban Planner and has a keen interest in sustainable community planning. His competencies lie in conducting research, culturally sensitive stakeholder engagement and critical thinking. He is curious and adaptive by nature and have an excellent track record in project delivery. He works well individually as well as with teams utilizing his skills for creating a better world. He currently works as a community and development planner and is part of the lands team, for a treaty first nation government in the lower mainland BC and has the privilege to serve its members and be a part of the success story since July 2024. Previously, he has worked for a municipality and a regional district where he dealt with development applications including Zoning and OCP amendments, various types of permits as well as referrals. He has also organised open houses, prepared staff reports, conducted research for long term plans, among others tasks as part of his job. He also has hands-on experience in a consulting and research environment with a focus on active transportation and road safety. He enjoys engaging with people to know about their urban life experiences, loves mapping datasets on ArcGIS and making cross sectional analysis of the prevailing urban complexities. In his free time, he loves reading online articles on diverse issues and potential solutions to them to feed his curiosity.
