ABOUT UPASNA JAVERI
Upasna is a seasoned equity crowdfunding specialist, with over 5 years of extensive experience in the industry. After graduating with a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 2017, she joined the Business Development team at StartEngine to help fund new and innovative businesses that were challenging the status quo and creating positive social impact. After three years of vetting early stage businesses and pitching the benefits and nuances of equity crowdfunding to entrepreneurs, Upasna switched gears to focus on crafting and executing digital marketing strategies to attract investors, for companies that were already raising capital via Reg CF, Reg A, and Reg D on equity crowdfunding platforms. Following a one year stint as Sr. Campaign Strategist at Digital Niche Agency (DNA), Upasna joined the leading escrow platform in the industry, FundAmerica by Prime Trust, as Sr. Account Manager, where she assisted in managing a $12 million+ dollar book of business in the B2B FinTech SaaS space, and worked on OFAC, AML, and BAC regulatory compliance for companies that were going through an equity crowdfunding capital raise. As part of her current role as an Client Operations Manager at Issuance Express, Upasna collaborates with C-suite executives everyday to guide them through the legal, financial, and regulatory hoops of setting up a Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) offering on Issuance\'s funding platform.
