The Gratitude Project is a John Templeton Foundation–funded, developmental, cross-cultural collaborative initiative between CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and the University of Virginia. The project investigates the development of gratitude in children and the ways in which parents socialize this construct, with particular emphasis on the role of cultural influences in these processes.As a Research Assistant, I lead the Data Collection vertical, where I manage participant recruitment, development of a data pool, and collect both experimental and observational data from parent-child dyads. My responsibilities also include data cleaning and management, budget handling, and facilitating collaborations with partner organizations. Additionally, I coordinate with the University of Virginia research team through regular meetings to ensure methodological alignment and adherence to research protocols.
